Sadie's BFF
One of Sadie's best friends is a cute little girl named Kenady. She's just a few months younger than Sadie. Her family has been temporarily staying with us the last couple of months, so the two girls have had tons of time to play together! Some days they just fight all day, but most days they just play and play together (and usually get into a little mischief!) and have so much fun! Its been really neat to watch them together. And its been so nice for Sadie to have a playmate at almost any time of the day!
Brother and Sister
It is so cute to see Sadie and Peyton interact. They love each other sooo much! Sadie is such a good big sister, always excited to see Peyton when he wakes up, and eager to help him play with his toys or keep him happy when he starts fussing. And Peyton just adores Sadie and loves to watch her play, it is so cute! I'm so glad they love each other so much and hope they always play this well together!
This is how I found them playing one day! Sadie loves to show Peyton how to do things and read him books and tell him about all kinds of things. I love it!
Sadie loves to "hold" Peyton like this. Look at how big he is compared to her! He's 6 months and she's 3 years old! Crazy!
One day Peyton woke up from his nap and I couldn't get to him right away. Sadie went to play with him, and she kept running back and forth between his room and hers. Finally she told me she was giving him her animals and making him happy, so I went to check it out and this is what I found! At least she kept them pretty much off of his face! :)

Sadie
Sadie is doing great too! She is so funny, always saying silly things and acting crazy. She's at that age where she says funny things without realizing it. And when she thinks something is funny she says "That's kinda pretty silly!". She's learning to do real puzzles and absolutely loves them! She also loves playing games on the computer - she's becoming a total whiz at it! She knows how to navigate the entire PBS Kids website, its amazing! She loves to play outside and run around with her friends. She's getting big enough to appreciate going to different places too - like the circus! A little teeny tiny circus came to Yuma a few weeks ago, so we went with her friend Kale. It actually was a really really lame circus. The only animals it had were dogs and miniature ponies, but the kids liked it. We also have trips to the beach and the zoo in the works too, so I'm really excited to watch her experience those for the first time! She's our sweet, silly girl and we love her so much!
Peyton
Peyton is getting sooo big! He is 6 months old now and still steadily growing! He wears 18-24 month clothes now! Crazy! He's doing really well though. He's been learning to sit up pretty well, and is eating baby food (and totally loving it!). We've had a couple of bouts with teething that have not been fun at all, but he has two teeth on the bottom now, and one on top that hopefully will pop through any time now. He's over the colic completely and doesn't spit up too much anymore, which is really really nice for his parents :) We got him a new crib and transferred him to his own room, and he's doing really well with it. He is super cute, with the sweetest personality and is such a joy to have in our family!
I started giving him water from a cup with his baby food (he won't drink from a bottle anymore). He absolutely loves it! Its really cute to watch him get so excited about it!

Trip to Flagstaff
In February we took a trip to Flagstaff, AZ to see the snow! It was so much fun! Its about a 4-5 hour drive, and the kids did really well! We stayed in a hotel, where Tanner and Sadie swam in the giant whirlpool they had. We also got a sled and took Sadie sledding for the first time. She loved it! It was really nice to feel the cold and see the snow, and get away as a family for a little bit.
