Fun with Family

My brother, John, and his family, who live in the Phoenix area, came down to Yuma last week to visit. They drove down on Monday and then spent the night and went home on Tuesday. And because there really isn't any other touristy things to do in Yuma, we went to the prison - again. It was fun though, and it went fast because kids aren't inclined to stop and read every single display or take forever looking at things. After we were done at the prison we took a walk on a nearby trail that led to a park on the banks of the Colorado River. It was great to see them, it had been over a year, and we are so glad we live close enough so we can visit each other sometimes. Here are a few pictures of our fun, although I can't take credit for them. John's wife, Kim, is an excellent photographer and since she's a cameraholic too, I didn't worry about using my camera, I just let her take all the pictures and then copied them on to my computer before they left!

look like a mean prisoner.

Sadie and Ellie loved to wander around the beach.

We let Sadie and Ellie take a bath together. Surprisingly,
Ellie, who hates baths with a passion, had a good time!
