A Quick Trip
We took a quick trip to Flagstaff last weekend. Tanner had seen on the news that there were some big snowstorms moving in up there and was dying to get out of Yuma and go see the snow for a couple days. So we decided to go on the spur of the moment. It was really fun. Its about a five hour drive from Yuma, but it really didn't seem like it took that long. Sadie was such a good traveler, except she got carsick and threw up all over on the way up. It wasn't too bad though, and we all got over it. About 30 minutes out of Flagstaff, we hit a snowstorm and couldn't see much, so Tanner was loving it! Sadie was really excited to see the snow too. She enjoyed getting out in it and throwing it around. We stayed in a hotel that had a pool and hot tub, and she loved swimming too. It was really cute to see her getting so excited about the water. Anyway, we just stayed the night and enjoyed the snow and the scenery, then headed home. Most of the way home we drove in a huge rainstorm, another rarity for us, so that was kind of fun. It was really nice to get out of town, even for just a night. It really felt like a vacation, and will definitely be a favorite family memory for all of us! Here are a few pictures of our fun:

Our Very Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas - our first with only our family. Sadie got into it all a little more this year. On Christmas Eve we went to a Candy Cane Lane here in Yuma and saw all the lights. Sadie loved it and kept saying "See Lights?". On Christmas we opened presents and then just had a relaxing day until it was time to cook dinner. We had some friends over for dinner, and then we all played games. It was a really great day! Anyway, here are a few pictures of our fun!
Sadie looks so super cute wearing her chef's outfit that she got
