And Some More Missouri Fun

We had lots of fun visiting family while we were in Missouri. Sadie especially had fun playing with her cousins that are closer to her age. We also got to go over to my brother Charlie's house and have dinner and spend the evening with his family. Sadie had a blast playing and running around, and eventually getting all wet! Here are some pics of our fun!

Here's a cute movie of Sadie and her cousin Thayne playing.

This is at Charlie's house. Sadie was supposed to be staying out
of the pool, but her cousins influenced her to be naughty and
jump in fully clothed! She was having blast!

Sadie loves to play with anything you can ride around on! She had
so much fun playing with this little jeep - especially because her
Charlsie was more than willing to push her all over the yard in it!

Riding around the yard! This time Thayne got in on the fun!

Ooops! Thayne fell down and was just being dragged for a while! :)

Here's a little movie of their fun in the jeep!

And that concludes out posting about our fun in Missouri. We had lots and lots of fun, and are so disappointed that our vacations are over already. But we are already looking forward to the next time we get to go visit our families!

More Missouri Fun

Here are some more pictures of our fun in Missouri! Sadie played outside a lot, and in the water a lot too because it was hot and definately humid there! It didn't bother her a bit though, she had a great time!

Sadie drinking out of the hose! This is a new thing she's
learned and now she does it every time we have a hose running!

Poor Raina! The water was almost too cold for her
to handle - plus her Daddy kept spraying her with it!

Here's a little video of Sadie and Raina playing in the water!

Grandma jumping on the trampoline with the little girls

Sadie's favorite thing to do outside was to go play in Grandma's
van. I don't know why, but she loved it and would throw and huge
fit if we told her no, so Grandma would take her and let her play in it!

Grandma, being as nice as she is, even took Sadie for a ride in
the van allover the front and back yard! You can't see it in this
picture, but she had Sadie sitting on her lap, half hanging out the
window the whole time. Sadie thought she was so cool!

Pretty Sadie :)

Drinking out of the hose again!

Grandpa gave Sadie a ride on his lawnmower. What a spoiled little girl!:)

Missouri Fun

So, we're back from our trip to Missouri to visit with my family! We've actually been back for a week now, but I'm just now getting to blogging about it! We had lots of fun and were able to relax and just hang out a lot, which was really nice. We were able to see my parents and my brothers Matthew and Charlie, who live in Missouri also. And as a really nice surprise, my brother Sam and his family (who live in Utah) came to visit for the weekend also! He has a baby we had never met before, so it was great to be able to see them! So for father's day we had exactly half of the Nevels kids at home! It was great! Sadie had a blast playing with all of her cousins and aunts and uncles. And not to mention Grandma and Grandpa who spoiled her like nothing else! But that's what they're for, right? :) She also got to spend a lot of time playing outside and in the water, which was really good for her! Anyway, here are a few pics of our fun - more to come in future posts!

This is what you could find Sadie doing anytime she was inside the house - Getting into Grandma's cabinets! She had a blast! Also - her silly face is how she says cheese! She actually says the word now, but she also scrunches up her face to go with it! Silly Girl!

I had to include a picture of little cutie Raina! We were so glad her family could visit from Utah for a bit, since we had never met her before! She is such a sweetheart!

Our Trip Up North - Part 4

One of the fun things we did on our vacation was just visiting family! Sadie got to meet some of her Great-Grandparents for the first time! She warmed up to them pretty quick and I think they couldn't get enough of her! I thought these pictures were pretty cute! So that's the scoop on our first trip this summer, next is a trip to see my family in Missouri! We leave on Thursday night, we are driving to Phoenix and spending the night with my brother John and his family, then Friday we are flying to St. Louis to stay with my parents! We are so excited! I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to share when we get back!

Sadie with Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Johnson!
They had a blast throwing the ball around with her!

Our Trip Up North - Part 3

While we were up north, we we able to take a couple of days and spent some time outside, just relaxing, enjoying the cooler weather and the green. It was really nice! One day we went to Pentoga Park, where there's a really big lake. Tanner did some fishing, while Sadie and I just walked around, played on the playground, and just hung out. Sadie totally enjoyed it! Another day we walked down a nearby walking/biking trail that was really nice! It was fun! Here are a few pics.

Tanner fishing

Sadie found an acorn!

Sadie loved climbing up on the picnic table
and getting into all of Tanners fishing stuff!

She found a bobber and immediately said "Ball!"

Sadie loved the swings and the slides!

Walking on the Apple Blossom Trail

Playing with rocks, one of Sadie's very favorite things to do!

We found a caterpillar and showed it to Sadie, but she didn't
like it at all - if you can't tell by the look on her face!

Our Trip Up North - Part 2

We spent the majority of our time up north in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan visiting Tanner's Grandparents. Its beautiful up there, lots and lots of trees! While we were there, we got to tour an iron mine. It would've been really fun and neat, except Sadie bawled the entire time and was so ornery! She hadn't been feeling well the first several days of our trip and this was just one more last straw for her! Part of it was that we had to wear slickers and helmets. Sadie's slicker was way to big for her, so it was confining, and they didn't have a helmet small enough for her, so she just had to wear the hood of her slicker, which was also too big! I felt really bad for the tour guide and the other couple that was on the tour, because once we were inside the mine, there was no escape from her crying and it just seemed louder! But once we got out of the mine, we let her run around outside for a bit, and she perked right up! She slid down a big pile of rocks, and played in a water puddle, and drank from the water fountain! If nothing else it was a great photo opportunity!

Sadie - all ready to go into the mine. The
harness is ours - to keep her from running off!

Tanner, Sadie, and Me - riding the little train into the mine

Sadie was semi-happy to walk for a minute
before she started crying again!

Sadie and Grandma Branham as Miners

Sadie - happy as can be to play in a puddle outside

Playing on the big pile of rocks!

Drinking from the water bubbler!

Eww...Gross! I didn't know she did this until I saw the picture!

More stuff to come about our trip up north!

Our Trip Up North - Part 1

So we're back from our trip up north to visit Tanner's parents! We flew from Yuma to Milwaukee, with a stopover in Phoenix. Sadie did so so so good on the flights, especially since she had gotten up at 4:40am and didn't take a nap until we got to Milwaukee! We are so proud of her! We went and stayed at Tanner's parent's house in Illinois for the first two days and I was able to visit with my sister, Tamera, and her family. It was so great to see them, it had been almost a year! The kids are growing so much, and Sadie had an absolute blast playing with them! It was lots of fun and even though it was a short amount of time, I'm so grateful we had it! Here are a few pics!

Henrik, Sadie, Tallia, and Will playing outside. Sadie
LOVED the swing! And she (and I) loved the beautiful
weather and the green green green!

Grant - he's growing so much! His feet are as big as mine!

Tallia and Sadie - Talli was such a good cousin to
Sadie while we were there; she played and played
with her and made her laugh so much!

Will - the ham of the family. The only pictures
I got of him look like this!

Henrik - Such a sweetheart! He made sure Sadie
was safe. He kept telling her "no no, don't
touch that, you will choke on that" even if
it was way too big for her to choke on!

Little AnnieLynn. She wasn't too sure about us until the last night,
but she sure was cute! Sadie loved her walker. She saw AnnieLynn
havingsnacks while she was in her walker, then later, I gave Sadie
some ofthe same snacks, so she thought she had to eat them in the
walkertoo! Sadie looked so funny moving around in that walker that
she was way too big for!

Sadie all ready to go to school. Tallia dressed her up
and Sadie thought she was so cool!

Here's a little video of Sadie playing with Henrik and Tallia! Enjoy!
I will continue to post more about our trip up north next time!

Jabbering

Here's another video of Sadie singing and talking, and even dancing a little bit. Its from a couple of weeks ago. She does it ALL day long now! Its so cute though, I never get tired of hearing it! And, as you'll see in the video, she was having a ball walking around with the laundry basket on her head! She' s such a cutie! This whole last week she's been teething or something, but its made her so so so fussy! Today was our first mostly normal day and it was so nice! I kind of forgot how good of a kid she really is! And how pleasant she is to play with when she doesn't have a nasty, runny nose! :) She's our angel and we can't wait for some of you to see her this weekend!

Mmm... Ice Cream

Sadie had ice cream the other day and I got it on video! It was so cute, the first several bites she kept going "Mmm.... Mmmm.... Mmmm" She loved it! But as you can see - she made a big mess!

Dancing

Here's a cute little video of Sadie dancing! She doesn't do it as much as she used to, but its still as cute as ever! She's getting so big, I was watching some of her videos from earlier in the year and even just in the last couple of months she has changed so much! She's not our little baby anymore! :( Its fun to watch her grow and learn though - she's such a funny girl! Anyway, I'm getting pretty bad at posting on here, sorry - Sadie keeps me busy and gets into everything when I'm on the computer. We are all doing good though. Getting sick of hot Yuma and totally looking forward to our vacations. We go to visit Tanner's parents in a couple of weeks and then a week or so after that we get to go see my parents! We haven't had a real family vacation in so long - we are really excited to get away and relax and enjoy our time off with family! We hope to see as many of you as we can, but we'll miss those of you we aren't able to see!

Our Little Rascal!

Sadie has learned to climb up on the table! Ahhh! She finally figured it out the other day and I could barely keep her off it after that! She fell off the chair at least twice, but she kept at it! I think she has forgotten about it since that day, because she hasn't done it since, but I'm sure she'll remember one of these days. Here are a few pics of our little rascal. I also included another photo at the bottom for some extra entertainment :) Enjoy!

Thinking about climbing all the way up...

... And there she goes!

This picture is after she went swimming one day
and I hadn't gotten her clothes back on her yet!
She's so funny! :)

Little Monkey

This is what Sadie has been up to lately...

She's starting to climb all over everything! She can't quite get up on our couches yet, because they are bigger ones, but we went to a friends house today, and she was all over their furniture! She's become our little monkey!
